The 50s

In 1949, FERMAX embarked upon what was to be its business trajectory with the launch in the Spanish market of the first ever radio intercommunicator for industrial and professional use:the radio interphone It was patented in 1950. |

On 16th January 1952, the FERMAX brand name was registered, a conjunction of the Company founder’s name and surname.
The 60s

In 1963, the company launched the Fonoporta, an electronic intercom system for buildings, considered the first electronic entry system from Fermax, which was to pave the way to the Company’s future.The apparatus swept the market.It was the first entry system designed in Spain and for many years, the only one.

The 70s
|
In 1974, Ramón Benedito designed his first product for Fermax:the T-1 wall Telephone.

The 80s
|
In the eighties, the Fermax video entry system was created, the first ever Spanish video entry system, providing a strong dose of security for homes.

The 90s
|
In the nineties, a new generation of video entry systems came along, providing colour images and the first prototypes to include security and telecommunications concepts.

In 1991, Fermax launched a manufacturing series of outdoor panels for electronic and video entry systems: CITYLINE Its creator, Ramón Benedito, revolutionized the market with Cityline, designing the first electronic entry panel on the market to use a convex-curved aluminium profile. That same year, it was awarded the Valencia Prize for Industrial Design Innovation. Today, 1,500,000 buildings have an electronic entry and Cityline video entry panel from Fermax. |

Year 2000 / 20th Century

In 2005, Fermax presented the new colour video entry panel:HALO. In Halo, the company and its creator Ramón Benedito have invested all their technological experience, design and innovation culture and future vision.

In 2006, a new digital video entry system came into being, with its features, security and design by Ramón Benedito, as the new addition to the Loft family:The LOFT COMPACT monitor.

In May 2007, at the Construmat Fair in Barcelona, the company presented the new Loft from Fermax for the digital home:iLOFT. It is light, transparent, subtle.The most innovative video entry system, the best proposal for the new digital home, designed by Ramón Benedito.

En Febrero de 2010. Lanzamiento de la Nueva Placa CITYLINE DIGITAL. Ultima generación. La placa CITYLINE digital es el modelo de placa de videoportero con teclado, recomendado para gestionar edificios de tamaño medio y grande. Este nuevo modelo destaca por la naturaleza metálica de sus materiales, su fiabilidad y durabilidad y la elegancia de su diseño. |
