On 25th March, Fermax Chairman and Founder Fernando Maestre was awarded the 2010 Best Entrepreneur Prize.  He received the award, promoted by the magazine Actualidad Económica, from Vicente Rambla, Regional Government Vice-president and Councillor for Industry, Trade and Innovation, in the course of an event organized annually by the magazine.
 

The “Awards for Enterprise Success in the Valencian Community” are prizes promoted by the veteran financial publication to acknowledge the value of business activity and distinguish the work of its most outstanding protagonists.  They are a form of recognition which Actualidad Económica has imbued with a significant weight over two decades of existence, having obtained for them a solid institutional endorsement and great prestige in the business world.

Fernando Maestre, Chair of the Valencian corporation and the most personal prize-winner, nevertheless wished to share it with the whole Fermax human resources team.

In his brief speech of gratitude he acknowledged the role of the entrepreneur when rolling out an initiative, but also wished to emphasize the need to count upon a good team to make it come true.  He also highlighted the value of his workers and the support of his own family.
