The Meet outdoor panels offer extensive integration options with other systems such as CCTV, access control and SIP intercommunication. When integration requires access control to be managed from third-party software or cloud platforms, several options are also available. This type of integration enables customisation and a user-friendly solution for end users, providing residents and property managers with a single-application management experience.

Access control management for Meet outdoor panels from third-party solutions can be achieved through two different approaches: an API based on SIP messages, and another based on the MQTT protocol. The first is recommended when management is performed on the same local network as the door panels, while the second is recommended for remote management.

In this case, the second approach was selected because it enables remote access to the panels without the need for a SIP server — only an easily implemented MQTT broker — and, compared to the SIP approach, it adds temporal validity to the credentials registered in the panels.
