FERMAX set out on its business trajectory with the launch in the Spanish market of the interphone radio, the first ever radio intercom for industrial and professional use.
The FERMAX brand name was registered, made up by combining the Company founder’s name and surname.
Launch of “Fonoporta”, an electronic intercom for buildings, considered the first electronic entry system from Fermax, the first of its kind designed in Spain and for years, the only one.
Intercom entry became widespread throughout Spain. One example is the Series 24 intercom panel, in 4mm aluminium with high powered amplifying circuit, auto-regulated, flush-fit box and pushbuttons with card slot. Fermax starts to export.

Ramón Benedito designed his first product for Fermax: The T-1 wall telephone. Until 87, around 4,500,000 units were manufactured, with one on display at the Reina Sofía museum as the benchmark in Spanish design of the 70s.

Fermax launches Cityline. Ramón Benedito’s design was to revolutionize the market as the first electronic door phone panel to use a curved-convex aluminium profile. Installed in more than 1,500,000 buildings, it would also be acknowledged in 1991 with the Valencia Award for Innovation in Industrial Design.
MDS is a Digital video entry system aimed at buildings and residential complexes with several entrance points. Installation is done with bus type wiring that enables intercommunication in the building and access management by means of readers and elevator control.
The trim frame began to be marketed, an aesthetic complement for the Citymax door phone, a highly successful model. In extra-flat format with mirror polished finish, it covers up the gaps left by former equipment and avoids the grubby marks on the wall that can appear through frequent use.

The video entry system by Ramón Benedito was acknowledged in 2007 by ADI-FAD with the seal "DELTA Selection 2007", recognizing its innovating value, conceptual renewal, formal elaboration and manufacturing quality.
Compact and extra-flat, the design is distinguished by a transparent polycarbonate lamina covering a neutral surface, a singular audio output, chromed pushbuttons and top quality and clarity screen. It was recognized by ADI-FAD, with the "DELTA Selection 2007" seal.
The new City digital video entry kits came out. They include the CITYLINE panel from FERMAX for detached family homes.
