Frequently some digital projects require several push-button panels due to the requirements of the customer. In these cases we can quote MDS-City system, which is completely available with CityClassic panels. However, these requirements are related to the use of our new Cityline panels and also, Skyline panels. Therefore, in this article we will explain how to connect the digitizer Ref.2440 to our 4+N Cityline and Skyline panels.
For this purpose, we need the following materials:
The following diagram indicates how to connect these devices to get a Cityline MDS-City panel. In this case we cannot use the cable from the connector CN1 to the digitizer directly, as we used to do in CityClassic panels, because the pins of these connectors do not match. Instead, we have to connect the wires to the corresponding outputs of the amplifier, as we can see on the picture and schematic:
Now, we know how to connect the digitizer, but we have another important question to solve and is: how to install this digitizer in the front panel.
Related to the measures of this digitizer, the best solution here is to order a Cityline special panel or using Skyline with a blank module to fit the digitizer without any problem. Ordering a special panel requires filling the following template, drawing the Cityline panel that we want:

With Skyline, we have to quote a Skyline panel with a Blank module Ref.7443 and fit the MDS-City digitizer as we can see on the next picture:
We can get a MDS-City panel easily with Cityline or Skyline design following these steps:
