As you know in VDS and DUOX systems, Fermax has developed a mapping function to assign to each button an address different of the one assigned by default in manufacturing, to make the product more flexible in installations where the client needs this customization.

As you know in VDS and DUOX systems, Fermax has developed a mapping function to assign to each button an address different of the one assigned by default in manufacturing, to make the product more flexible in installations where the client needs this customization.

These mapping addresses are stored in the amplifier memory and they are set following the steps specified in our manuals.

But in case of using the DUOX amplifier together with the graphical display Ref.7450, the addresses are stored in the display itself and the procedure is different.

This is the objective of this article, that means to explain in detail the procedure to map pushbutton modules in a DUOX panel with graphical display.

In general, DUOX panels with graphical display include keypad, but additionally it can be added pushbuttons module to call specific addresses, for example due to singular topologies to call specific locals of a mall center or for offices.

For the operations, additionally to the panel you will need an adaptor Ref.24661 and the software of the Display Plus (Available at Fermax website).

Follow these steps:

Open the software and connect to the panel.

Select “parameters”: Complete the data of the panel and press “Receive”.

The default DUOX addresses of the buttons will appear, replace them with the wished mapping addresses, and press “Send”.

From this moment the pushbuttons will call the DUOX terminals with the mapping addresses instead of the default manufacturing addresses.

We hope you find this easy procedure useful and the application interesting for your future installations.
