Includes 2 inputs and 1 outputs. Regenerates and amplifies signal in both directions. Usuable in single signal regeneration mode or multi-channel mode (to regenerate while isolating the conversation of a trunk from the rest of the installation).
FEATURES
The DUOX PLUS 1S DUAL Regenerator can be used for the following purposes:
- Increased remote installation and/or terminal loading capacity. The regenerator has to be connected at a point where there is a suitable signal (e.g. where a monitor is working properly).
- 1. Outdoor panel distance extension.
- 2. Monitor extension.
- 3. Signal regeneration.
• Section isolation (riser,...). The two sections between which it is installed are isolated from short circuits, charge and signal reflections.
• When supplied from one port, the regenerator allows a maximum current of 1.6 A to be passed to the other port.
• Also in multichannel regenerator mode, establishing simultaneous conversations in different blocks.

The set-up process can be completed using either a screw fitting or a DIN rail installation.

Connections
- The regenerator can be powered by either of its two ports, but not both simultaneously. If this is done, the microswitch 4 of SW1 must be set to the OFF position to isolate the current from both ports.

DUOX PLUS offers maximum versatility thanks to the stability and strength of signal transmission in this fully digital system which avoids possible feedback and interference in the installation. The DUOX PLUS amplifier includes a voice synthesizer. Operating the lock release issues a message: “door open, close after entry”. Up to three terminals (telephones/monitors) can be installed in each apartment. Apartment terminals require simple programming. This programming assigns a call code to each terminal. Communication is private. Cables: Any type of cable may be selected: parallel, twisted pair and UTP CAT5 in new installations; even existing cables in replacement work can be used (5 wires, 2-wire bell or old 4+N wire).
